Born April 5, 1987 in Chicago, Illinois, Richard Lee is beginning his career on the PGA TOUR. He turned professional after graduating from the University of Washington in 2010. He played on the Tour for one year after missing a PGA TOUR card in 2010’s Q-School. He finished 37th on the Tour money list in 2011. He earned his PGA TOUR card that same year. He hopes to continue the trajectory toward success on the professional golf circuit.

Lee notes that his favorite golf course is the Members Club at Aldarra, east of Seattle. His favorite college team is the Washington Huskies, and his favorite pro team is the Seattle Seahawks. Richard enjoys watching the Golf Channel, and Gladiator is his favorite movie. In order to stay grounded, his favorite book is the Bible.

Seattle is Richard Lee’s favorite city to visit, and Hawaii is his favorite vacation spot. Like any busy man, Lee never travels without his phone. His favorite players on TOUR are Tiger Woods and K.J. Choi.

On marrying at 18 and having a child one year later, Richard Lee says, “Being a father and a husband has taught me to better manage my time. I have a different perspective on life. Golf isn’t everything.”
